It may be a shortcoming in Mail, but seeing tags in the message header would be very useful.

After thorough investigation, we’ve found that, due to limitations in Apple Mail’s current architecture, it’s not possible for third-party extensions to add or manage tags directly on emails.
Hopefully, Mailbutler tagging feature could still serve as a workaround for email organisation in your working routine.
