Integrated with iOS Mail Like Mac App

i like how mailbutler integrates with mail on desktop. wish it could be the same way with apple mail in mobile, rather than me using yet another app in my phone to send mail and have to go back and forth between apps if i want to read new and sent mail etc.

We recently made the decision to remove the sending capabilities from our mobile app. We know that some of our users are unhappy about this upcoming change. This is not a decision we’re making lightly, but rather one that we’re forced to make. The mobile app has not worked consistently for some of our users. After trying to fix these issues, we’ve come to the conclusion that we simply don’t have the capacity or manpower to maintain a mobile app with sending functions properly. Several of you have suggested that we integrate Mailbutler directly in to the Apple Mail app on your phone. This is actually not possible, and the only alternative is to create and maintain a standalone email application, which we don’t have the resources to maintain. Because of all of these things, we’re simplifying the mobile app so that its primary function is a companion app. You’ll receive notifications from any emails that you’ve sent with Mailbutler from your desktop. And of course, you’ll still be able to add Notes, Tasks, and Follow Up Reminders. If you’re someone who subscribed to Mailbutler because of the mobile app, and who will be heavily impacted by this change, please direct an email to Claire at support@mailbutler.io.

Noortje: I've already told Claire I will be leaving. The prices you charge for the app should afford you plenty of 'resources' to fix this. It is by far the most expensive piece of software I have ever bought. Much more expensive than even Photoshop or Final Cut Pro. Its terrible. I'm very disappointed in your product and I'm actually sad to cancel my membership but this is the case.

Please make all the mails accessible to be able to add notes and tasks. So also inbox, send etc.....is the least you can do.....

Nautisch Adviesbuerau Dirk van der Zee: At the request of Jillian, to whom I have sent an email according to the above post, again the request to expand and improve the iOS version. The vast majority of OS users are also iOS users. It surprises me that apparently little value is attached to this.

Wait, what? How does an app like this survive in this day and age without even offering full mobile functionality..? This is the first disadvantage of Mailbutler we've come across, but it also immediately is a dealbreaker for us in this mobile-first era. Such a pity. Guess we need to stick to Canary Mail :(

Yep, having a separate app defeats the purpose and (in my opinion) primary value of this service.

Yes, me too.

I agree...but would like it to integrate with the mail app

Agreed.

This is the biggest gap between using this and another email app like Newton or Airmail.

would like to be able to snooze mail on IOS also

I totally agree and have been asking them for this now for awhile. Their app only lets you send, if you can get it setup correctly but, no way to reply. so, back to the other app to finish communicating.
