badge for uncompleted follow-up reminders

It would be great if there would be an uncomplicated way to see that there are uncompleted follow-up reminders. Now a reminder appears on je screen for a few seconds and then it is gone. If there would be a badge symbol that is visible even when the mailbutler window is closed...that would be helpful.
